On January 6, 2025, a parent’s worst nightmare became our reality when our beloved Lexi died suddenly. Although she had passed, one final gift was already on its way to her mom, a pair of skates. Those skates became a treasure to our family, a reminder of her love and her thoughtfulness.

As we have spent this year grieving deeply, we have searched for ways to honor her, on her birthday, November 8. We felt the best way to carry our love and our loss was to continue the work that mattered most to her: her passion for social justice and her love of humanity. Lexi not only cherished working for HopeLink, but the organization also gave so generously for her memorial service.

We all grieve in our own ways. As her father, I choose to grieve by helping Hopelink to help those less fortunate and by thinking of her every single time I do.

To honor her spirit, we now raise money for HopeLink, knowing without question that this is what she would want us to do. Our family thanks you for every donation and for your participation in this event. Each act of kindness reminds us of the loving community that has surrounded us since this tragic loss.
